The OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry training course is our most thorough and extensive training for workers and supervisors in the construction industry.
For those in need of a basic overview on construction safety, the OSHA 10-Hour Construction Industry Course is perfect for going over important practices of occupational health and safety, recognizing work hazards, and training on awareness of work hazards.
In the OSHA Fall Protection training course, employers and supervisors will learn how to protect their employees from serious injuries from falls in the workplace.
Falls are among the most common causes of serious work-related injuries and deaths. According to the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB), in 2016 there were 305 serious construction accidents involving worker falls, 10 of them were fatal. This 8-hour course is intended to educate workers on how to avoid accidents and injuries while working on roofs, leading edges, ladders or scaffolds by defining the regulations and safety rules associated with fall hazards on construction sites. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to identify and avoid hazards associated with elevated work locations.
This course will help trainees become generally familiar with adverse effects of drug and alcohol in the workplace. Trainees will be able to recognize problems associated with substance dependency. This training may also help trainees better recognize and understand issues of chemical dependence that may adversely affect the lives.
